Tebeka (“Advocate for Justice” in Amharic) is an organization dedicated to the pursuit of social justice and provision of legal aid and advocacy for the community of 140,000 Ethiopian-Israelis.
Tebeka is the only organization providing comprehensive free legal services for Ethiopian-Israelis, as well as community development programs designed to strengthen every generation.
Tebeka’s mission is the full integration of Ethiopian-Israelis into Israel’s multicultural democracy. Tebeka works toward this goal by ensuring access to quality legal services and guaranteeing equal protection of civil rights through litigation and community development.
Tebeka’s programs operate in the following cities: Ashdod, Beer Sheva, Beer Yaakov, Hod Hasharon, Netanya, Petach Tikva, Rehovot, Rishon LeZion, and Yavne.
