Following the shocking publication regarding police violence against a young Ethiopian Israeli man in Ashdod, Tebeka contacted the Head of the Department for Investigations of Police Officers and the State Attorney last Thursday, demanding the immediate opening of a criminal investigation, the suspension of all officers involved, and the prosecution of those responsible. The documentation indicates the use of unreasonable force, to say the least, in violation of the law and in infringement of fundamental human rights.
