D׳ is a graceful and sweet girl studying in one of the elementary schools in the center of the country. About a month ago, at the end of the school day, she was standing at the exit gate of the school. Came to her N׳, the mother of one of the girls who studies with D׳. According to her, due to a fight with her daughter, she came to speak with D׳ and then began to argue and curse her in front of everyone. When father of one of the girls interrupt her, she answered him by shouting, with the words:
“I’m Ashkenazi and I’m proud of it, she’s ugly black, there’s nothing to expect from an ugly black”.
D׳ was horrified by N’s racist and harsh statements and start to cry on the spot. She was accompanied by her friends and together their arrived at her parents’ house. They shared with parents the racist incident that D׳ experienced.
Unfortunately, fight between children is a natural thing that occurs in any educational institution, but this routine fight did not end with the care of the educational system, even though the mother chose to act in a racist and shocking manner.
These days the Tebeka Association is working to exhaust the legal procedures for the harsh racist statements and calls on anyone who has been harmed by racist behavior/racist statements to contact us at 072-2424622.
