Yesterday The Tebeka Association and the Meitar Law Firm awarded scholarships to Law Students from Ethiopia on behalf of Adv. Zvi Meitar.
This scholarship is awarded in memory of the Attorney Zvi Meitar who personally accompanied the project and used to speak at the ceremony in honor of the scholarship recipients. This is the 20th year in which the Meitar Law Firm and the Zvi and Ofra Meitar family have awarded generous scholarships to Ethiopian Law Students.
In additionto the scholarship, a mentoring project took place for the 5th time in the framework of which each scholarship recipient will be accompanied by a lawyer from the Meitar Firm with the aim of providing personal professional guidance and support.
The Tebeka Association congratulates the students and sees an important value in promoting legal education and empowerment among Ethiopian students.
