The Tebeka Association was astonished to discover that Mohel Assolin from Hadera, whose candidacy for the position of Rabbi of the city previously sparked both principled and legal opposition, is now considering running for the Chief Rabbinate Council of Israel.
Tebeka, which filed a petition to the Supreme Court in 2017 against Assolin’s candidacy for Rabbi of Hadera, will not stand by passively this time either and will continue to act with determination using all the legal tools at its disposal to ensure that justice is served.
